“PHOTOGRAPHY HAS THE POWER TO SHIFT PERSPECTIVES”

I’m a compassionate versatile photographer with a deep passion for wildlife and environmental conservation. My practice focuses on telling stories that challenge assumptions about animals and their place in the world. Whether capturing a moment of quiet resilience in a rescued animal, or highlighting the complex realities of species affected by human activity, with an aim to create images that spark empathy and inspire action.

I use my lens not only to document but to speak, for those who cannot. Through photography, I strives to bridge the emotional and ethical disconnect in today’s society between humans and nature, inviting audiences to see beyond conditioned speciesism and into the lives of individuals.

I have recently had the privilege of collaborating with a number of animal sanctuaries and environmental organisations, using my photography to help raise awareness and generate funding for critical causes. I strongly believe photography has the power to shift perspectives.

In every portrait, every scene, I aim to unveil the individual personalities, intelligence, and connect the viewer emotionally. My camera becomes a tool for activism, making visible the lives too often unseen and overlooked. My work is ultimately an invitation to act with greater compassion, and I approach every project with integrity, sensitivity, and purpose.

“Lea has such a great eye when photographing our animals. We’ve had many photographers in the past, but we can all agree that Lea’s have been the very best. We are very grateful for everything that she has done for us so far, and look forward to continually working with her in the future.”
